About Us

Petru Buzilan

I am the founder of Food Solutions, a company created out of a sincere desire to support economic agents in the food and HoReCa industries to develop, comply with legislation, and offer safe, high-quality products.

The decision to leave my position as senior inspector at ANSA was not an easy one, but it came from the conviction that I can do more through education, consulting, and real support than through sanctions and fines. Instead of sanctioning, I chose to help. I saw how great the need for correct, clear, and practical guidance is among businesses in this sector, and I decided to be on their side, not against them.

I have experience in both the public and private sectors—from management and coordination positions in restaurants to training and specialization in food safety, management systems, and good hygiene practices. I hold qualifications obtained through Bureau Veritas in areas such as: HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and ISO 19011 internal audit.

I dedicate my consulting work to obtaining authorizations, designing technological flows, training staff, and implementing quality systems, offering simple, efficient, and compliant solutions.

My professional story began right in the heart of the food industry—in restaurants, kitchens, and bars. I worked as a chef, bartender, waiter, and manager, fully understanding the pace, challenges, and real needs of a food service establishment.

I decided to build on this, relying on my solid training:
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Food Service Technology and Management
🎓 Master's degree in Food Quality and Safety – Technical University of Moldova
📌 Professional certifications in Romania: ISO 22000 Internal Auditor, IFS Specialist

🛡️ From industry to authority

I had the opportunity to work in the state control structure as a senior ANSA inspector. I coordinated inspections, issued authorizations, identified non-conformities, and, most importantly, worked directly with entrepreneurs and their teams to build compliant, safe, and efficient facilities.

This dual perspective — private + authority—taught me to see things clearly:
✔️ What real compliance means (not just on paper)
✔️ Where risks arise and how they can be prevented
✔️ How to apply the law in a functional, not bureaucratic, way

🔧 What am I doing today?

Today, I work as an independent consultant and collaborate with entrepreneurs throughout the Republic of Moldova to transform their businesses into models of efficiency and compliance. I work closely with the team – whether it's a neighborhood bakery, a confectionery laboratory, or a rapidly growing HoReCa chain.

I work side by side with managers, quality managers, and production staff to:

✅ Implement HACCP and self-control programs
✅ Draft technical documentation and labels
✅ Train staff
✅ Prepare the unit for audits and inspections
✅ Organize the technological flow for efficiency and traceability
